Greenwich Library operates as a public/private partnership with the Town of Greenwich. While the Town funds the Library’s core operating expenses, 1800+ events, including all programs, classes, training, speakers, author events, story times and book groups, concerts and performing arts performances, are funded entirely by charitable donations. All of the Library’s events are free to the public, so funds to support the Library come from donations — and one major fundraiser event held every two years — The Peterson Business Award Dinner. This year, on April 4, 2024, we are thrilled that the Peterson Business Award will honor Ray Dalio, a generous Greenwich community member and a global financial icon whose contributions extend far beyond the realm of global finance, embodying the spirit of innovation, leadership and philanthropy. Please join us. Tickets available at greenwichlibrary.org/peterson
