LEO Zoological Conservation Center

LEO Zoological Conservation Center LEO Center breeds rare animals for accredited zoo’s and create sustainable populations in North America.

LEO fills a dire and growing need for off-exhibit breeding centers by providing large, natural, quiet habitats and a low impact atmosphere that’s free of human crowds. Therefore, reducing the number of animals that are removed from their countries of origin in order to restock zoo population.

Dear Friends of Wildlife,

After many wonderful years, the LEO Zoological Conservation Center will be closing in Greenwich.

LEO's mission of - Saving the animals of today for the people of tomorrow - will continue going forward.

The animals at the center are being loaned, donated and transferred to accredited zoos in the US that have pledged to annually support conservation causes for their wild counterparts.

Thank you all for standing with LEO all these years and for your unwavering support. We hope you will continue to keep the preservation of our natural world a part of your everyday lives, as will we.

Yours in wildlife,

LEO Zoological Conservation Center

Our resident cheetahs and staff want to remind everyone that today an estimated 9,000 to 12,000 cheetahs remain in the wild in Africa, and around 200 live in isolated populations in Iran. On this day dedicated to the plight of these magnificent cats, please pledge to make a difference and help save Cheetahs!
