Hi, this is Frances, co-head of Greenwich Girl Scouts. Girl Scouts was founded in 1912 and the first Girl Scout cookie sale was held in 1917. Im guessing this promo pic selling Thin Mints is circa 1950?

Today, you can help support the 30 Girl Scout troops, 300 grade K - 12 Girl Scouts in Greenwich and purchase Adventurefuls, DoSiDos, Girl Scout Smores, LemonUps, Tagalongs, Thin Mints, Toffee-tastic, Trefoils, Samoas for $6 until April 27 when Girl Scouts of Connecticut cookie sales end.

GGS LWVG Women in Government Expo 2025
Date: Today, Sunday, April 6, 2025
Time: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM

What to Expect: This public, family-friendly event is designed to give children and families the opportunity to engage with women leaders in government and public service. The expo will feature interactive stations where attendees can learn about leadership and government. Each young visitor will receive a “passport” to mark their station visits and will earn a fun patch after completing all stations expanded to both the first and second floors. All welcome; please spread the word, especially children pre-k to grade 5.

Please bring: water bottle, $6 if you want to buy Girl Scout cookies, smiles, Girl Scout uniform (if available).

Wahooo! It's Girl Scouts of Connecticut Girl Scout Cookie Time. In Greenwich, 200 Girl Scouts have already sold nearly 20k cookies, 2k+ donated. Greenwich favorites are Thin Mints and Samoas with Tagalongs coming in third. $6 per box.

Hi, its Frances. Together with Liz FitzRoy, Georgianna Lissauer and Lori Mulligan, we volunteer to co-lead Greenwich Girl Scouts.

We love Girl Scouts and welcome everyone entering grades K through grade 12 to join or rejoin Girl Scouts. Start a troop with five friends in the same grade or go multi-level. Annual fees are just $40 per Girl Scouts, $25 per adult, with financial aid available. To learn more and sign up or renew, go to https://www.gsofct.org/
