When you support the girls at New Beginnings, it helps cover the cost of simple necessities they don’t otherwise have access to. New clothes and food of course top the list, but things like hair ties, laundry soap, shoes, toiletries, etc. are also very necessary! 😅

Starting over in a whole new culture can be overwhelming, but that’s why we’re here. 😊 And we couldn’t do it without your support! ❤️

We had a fun impromptu fishing adventure tonight! The sunset was beautiful and the fish were biting like crazy! We stopped counting after the first dozen or so 😜 Everyone was baiting their own hooks, casting their lines, and unhooking their own fish by the end of the night. And only a few fish eyes were harmed in the process 😂

On Wednesdays we meet for our Life Skills class! It was such a beautiful day outside, we couldn’t resist sitting in the sun for both the morning and afternoon class! ☀️ We are loving the warmer weather and sunshine! 😊

This rainy Saturday called for painting pottery! 😊 We worked up quite an appetite, so we finished the afternoon with frozen yogurt! 😋

It was so nice yesterday, we had our afternoon life skills class outside ☀️

Yesterday’s topic: credit bureaus and credit scores! Not super riveting, but very necessary and valuable information for adulthood! 😊

We played around with an interest rate calculator online and the girls marveled at how credit scores impact interest rates - which in turn affect payments!
