Despite all efforts done, landfills grow at an incredible pace. It is estimated that the equivalent of 1 full truck of plastic is dumped into the ocean every minute! That sums up at 8 million tons of plastic every year.
The Earth, especially its oceans, and wildlife, are dying from plastic waste.

👉 What can we do?

• share the knowledge as much as you can, a lot of people use plastic just as a habit, they need someone to open their eyes.

• refuse to buy products wrapped in plastic, make an effort to find alternatives.

• If you order take out tell them you don't want utensils.

• When you order a drink at a restaurant tell the waiter No Straw as you order your drink.

• talk to vendors and supermarkets you shop at, they need to hear their customers.

• stop buying bottled water

• bring your own shopping bag, reusable coffee cups, etc.

• do your own research and let’s not be part of plastic world 🌱🌱🌱

It's Earth Day and there is so much that you can do each day to help. Here are a few ideas: STOP using single use plastic, always carry a water bottle and buy glass straws, that live forever. Why, have a look at the photos. Every time you order in a restaurant, make sure to tell them before you order your drink "no straws." Where does single use plastic end up? All over the Earth, and eventually in our systems. Let's create a place that our grandchildren can love and live in!

GM is in the forefront of leading companies to sustainability by announcing today their plan to permanently stop product Ong gas powered cars by 2035, we hope that other automakers follow suit ans we hope they move this year up to 2025!

The automaker is focused on electric vehicles and wants to be completely carbon-neutral by 2040.
