🇺🇸 25 Years. One Nation. We Remember.
Today, on Patriot Day, we pause to remember September 11, 2001.
Twenty-five years ago, our nation was changed forever. Nearly 3,000 lives were lost, families were forever changed, and a generation of Americans witnessed an attack that would shape the years that followed.
But September 11 also revealed something powerful about the American spirit.
First responders ran toward the danger. Military members answered the call. Volunteers showed up. Communities rallied. Americans stood shoulder to shoulder, united by grief, courage, and an unwavering love for this country.
For those of us who have served, we know that service doesn't end when the uniform comes off. Remembering is part of that service, too.
Today, we invite our community to help us keep those memories alive.
Where were you on September 11, 2001?
Who do you remember?
What story from that day, or the days that followed, has stayed with you?
Share your story in the comments. Share a photograph. Share the name of someone we should never forget.
Let’s fill this post with memories, names, stories, and reminders of the courage and compassion that emerged from one of our nation's darkest days.
🇺🇸 25 years later, we remember those we lost. We honor those who served. We thank those who helped. And we will never forget.
