UPDATE!!
We are less than a week out for what we hope is going to be a great youth hunt!
Questions were asked about the side pots, so i hope this will clairify for all.
The predator hunt itself will be $100 entry. Big coyote is $25, big cat is $25 and big pig is $50. If you enter the predator tournament and all the side pots, that is $200 total.
You may enter the big pig contest with a $50 entry and not hunt the predator portion, but will not be eligable for the big coyote or cat pots, it will be for big pig only.
You can have 2 youth on a team and up to 2 adults with them, but each team must have atleast one adult. Adults can call, drag, scan and do anything other than be on the trigger. The youth have to be on the trigger. This is a youth hunt.
A video has to be made of each animal taken, shaking it on video and showing that its not stiff. Half an hour before the hunt starts, we will text those numbers given at sign up for the adult captain of each team. That text will give the additional info required for each video. In the video you will say date, time and who took the animal plus the additional info given in that text.
Hunt starts at 3pm and is done at 3am. At 3 am and no later than 3:10 am, the captain must text the # we will give you at sign up with the total animals of each species that you have. That will be the only animals counted at weigh in.
3pm-3am we did this as to not keep these young folks out all night. We thought it best to allow yall to go home, get some rest and then come to weigh in.
If you have any questions ( no question is a dumb one ) please ask in the comments so we can answer, maybe someone else has the same question.
Some folks have land owners that want to be with them when they hunt their property. That is ok, but they cant participate in the videos, calling etc…
Thank you!
