Look at this! 💚 One of our AnchorHer residents visited Harvest Hope today, and this is what she came home with fresh fruit, vegetables, eggs, dairy, and bags of groceries!

Starting over comes with expenses, and having food on the table is one less thing to worry about. This is why we connect our residents with community resources and encourage them to use the support available.

💕 A little pink and a reminder to take care of yourself.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Awareness matters because knowing what changes to look for and keeping up with recommended screenings can help find breast cancer early, when it’s easier to treat.

We spend so much time taking care of everybody else. Make time for your health, too. Talk with your provider about when you need a mammogram, and get any new breast changes checked.

To those in treatment, survivors, and families remembering someone they love: we’re thinking of you this month. 💗

I became a Narcan community distributor because I believe people deserve the chance to make it to recovery.

Recovery takes more than a fresh start. It takes follow-through.

It’s showing up to the meeting when you don’t feel like going. Being honest when it would be easier to hide. Taking responsibility for today, even if yesterday was hard.

At AnchorHer, we believe women deserve a place to do that work with structure, accountability, and support.

One day at a time. Do the work. 💚

Sometimes, doing the work still means needing a little help along the way.

One of our AnchorHer residents is employed, committed to her recovery, and genuinely working to rebuild her life. She is not looking for someone to do the work for her she is already doing it. She simply needs temporary support with her program fees while she works toward greater financial stability.

Our sponsorship goal is $1,170, which will cover her remaining balance and four full weeks at AnchorHer. Full or partial sponsorships are welcome.

All sponsorship payments will be made directly to AnchorHer and applied to the resident’s account. Sponsors will receive a receipt and documentation confirming how their support was applied. The resident will also send a personal thank-you letter by email.

Please note: AnchorHer LLC is a for-profit organization. Sponsorship payments should not be treated as tax-deductible charitable donations.

Never give up on yourself.

You may have made mistakes. You may have lost time, relationships, opportunities, or even yourself along the way but as long as you’re still here, you still have a chance to rebuild.

Your “why” has to be stronger than the hard days. Maybe your why is your children. Maybe it’s getting your life back, finding peace, rebuilding trust, or finally becoming the woman you know you can be.

Whatever your reason is, hold on to it. Recovery will challenge you, but giving up will take you right back to the place you prayed to escape.

Keep going. Your life is worth fighting for.

RECOVERY IS MORE THAN PUTTING DOWN A SUBSTANCE.

It is learning how to stop running when life becomes uncomfortable. It is accepting accountability, respecting boundaries, rebuilding trust, and showing up even when nobody is clapping for you.

Some days, recovery will feel powerful. Other days, it will simply look like making the next right decision. Both matter.

At AnchorHer, we don’t promise that rebuilding your life will be easy. We provide a safe, structured environment for women who are ready to face themselves, do the work, and create something better.

Your past may explain parts of your story, but it does not get to control how your story ends.
