Passion, Pursuit and Purpose

“I was passionate about my education, I pursued it, and it developed my purpose,” said Kanisha Fowler.

This organization was founded in 2014 by Kanisha Fowler, a goal-oriented dreamer who was determined to accomplish her dreams despite the financial hardships she faced. She was in her Sophmore year of college and was almost kicked out because she couldn’t afford tuition. Many people expected her to take a semester off and save up, but Kanisha was determined to keep going. She asked for donations from her friends, family and Church and the support she received was unbelievable.

Kanisha founded this organization because she wanted to give back to the community and encourage young girls to have passion for their dreams. She experienced what it means to work hard for your dreams, and she knew she could encourage others to do the same.

DreamGirls Ministry host events for girls to have fun, be encouraged and gain resources as they follow their dreams. DreamGirls provides a mentoring program and encourages girls to set goals and stay on track with them. Other services include the DreamGirls Scholarship program and DreamGirls Rewards program.
