Most men don’t lose…
They just drift.
This morning at Dad’s Breakfast, Fred brought a message that hit home:
“The Man in the Mirror.”
Not the version everyone else sees.
Not the highlight reel.
The real one.
The one you see when everything gets quiet.
We talked about the rat race…
Chasing more money.
More success.
More stuff.
More validation.
And if we’re not careful—we win out there…
…but lose at home, lose our peace, and lose our walk with God.
Here’s the truth most men don’t say out loud:
You can be busy…
successful…
even respected…
…and still feel empty.
Fred broke it down simply:
There are two ways to live—
One driven by: Pride.
Comparison.
Selfish ambition.
The other driven by: Love.
Peace.
Purpose.
Self-control.
At some point, every man has to stop and ask:
Who am I becoming?
Because your life is moving in a direction—whether you’re intentional or not.
You don’t fix this by trying harder.
You fix it by stepping out of the rat race
…and getting your focus back on God.
Take 5 minutes today.
No phone. No noise.
Just you and that question:
“Who is the man in the mirror right now?”
Next Men’s Breakfast coming up May 16th.
You should be there.
