🌱 This week, the Sprouts crossed over into serving our Bridge Ministry! They boxed up care packages and made sweet birthday cards for our bstreetstudents who are away at college - many of whom were former Sprouts themselves! 📦💚

💧 PROJECT 25:35 MISSION 5: CARE FOR THE THIRSTY 💧

There's still time to earn the Sept. - Oct. stamp! Complete ONE or more of these activities:

🚶‍♀️ WALK FOR WATER
Sign up to join the B-Street Kids Team at Furman University on November 7 at 10 AM for the Walk for Water! Walk with your family & friends and help raise awareness for the millions of people without access to safe water.

💙 RAISE + GIVE
Get creative! Lemonade stand, extra chores, spare change, a craft sale — whatever you dream up! Donate what you raise to Buncombe Street’s Walk for Water team.

🥤 GIVE SOMEONE A DRINK
Look for a chance to bless someone who is thirsty — a neighbor, delivery driver, friend, someone working outside, or someone in need.

Let’s put Matthew 25:35 into action and care for the thirsty together! 💧

🌱 It’s SPROUTS Season for our 4th & 5th graders!

How did we kick it off? New covenant groups. Lots of lunches packed. Families serving together. And a whole lot of love for our community! 💚

We learned more about Triune Mercy Center’s impactful ministry, and we prepared and prayed over bagged lunches to be shared with people experiencing homelessness tomorrow.

We can’t wait to see this group grow their love for God and love for people this year!

This morning, our B-Street Kids spent time praying for our teachers, classmates, and schools through writing, drawing, and buliding! We taught our kids that it’s important to pray for these things and that prayers can be creative!

🎉 PROMOTION SUNDAY IS THIS SUNDAY! 🎉

August 16 is a BIG day for B-Street Kids as we move up into new classrooms and begin a new year of growing together!

✨ Our 2K friends will experience Sunday School for the very first time!
✨ Kindergarteners are moving upstairs to the elementary hallway and beginning to worship with their families!
✨ Our elementary kids are heading to their new classrooms!

And kindergarten families, don't forget to look for our Children's Worship Bulletins in the worship services. They're designed to help your kids engage with the sermon alongside you!

📸 Get your photo taken with us at our photobooths on Sunday! Come celebrate this big milestone and kick off the new year together.

And after a summer of traveling, vacations and busy schedules, we're ready to welcome you BACK2CHURCH! 💛
