Greenville, Miss. (September 2, 2025) — The Washington County Food Access Improvement Fund, a partnership between Mars Food & Nutrition North America, Delta Group, and the Community Foundation of Washington County, has announced the recipients of its third round of annual grants. This year, $50,000 in funding was awarded to eight local organizations working to improve access to nutritious food in the region, where food insecurity affects nearly 1 in 4 residents.

Since 2023, the Fund has awarded $217,000 in grants, helping over 30,000 residents gain better access to healthy meals.
