The gospel is to go across the street and around the world. Dr. Jonathan Master persuasively reminds us that our reformed tradition has always been zealous for evangelism and missions. But zeal is not enough. We must send out godly men who are full of love for their Savior. Healthy churches send out godly men to proclaim the gospel to the lost across the world. While many obstacles arise, we need to be on guard against these obstacles and endure in the task of faithful missions. We need to be watchful against the temptations of the world that will chip away against our zeal for the Lord and making known His name.

Endurance in ministry means faithfulness to all of God’s Word; this includes the command to evangelize. Dr. Rob Pacienza, one who has much experience in evangelism, compels us of the need to continual faithfulness in evangelism. We declare to the world that Christ is King and that salvation is found in no other name than the name of Jesus Christ. By the ordinary means of grace, we advance the kingdom of grace to the uttermost parts of the world. We ought to openly, boldly, and joyfully declare this gospel of grace and all its implications. This type of preaching will fuel our people to endure in season and out of season in evangelism.
