Rainbows Edge took 16 total. 14 came into our facility and 2 went to Wayne Frys straight from AVS after gelding which he gentled trained and adopted ( todays update from him is they are doing great and in the same pasture together getting along). 1 of the geldings Buddy we got through the medical issues and use to being near other horses and into pasture,he is a gentle sweet boy, he has been transferred to his foster home Sue Jones under Triple R Horse Rescue Tallahassee. 2 of the mares were gentled standing for Vet and Farrier, leading and they transferred to Triple R Horse Rescue Tallahassee to foster homes . One of the geldings was euthanized, the Vet and farrier met and both agreed he had been to long ,even years possible with letting his feet go and the damage to his legs because of that he would be in pain his whole life and that would not be fare to him, so the choice was made to give him peace ,no pain and grand green pastures to run as fast as he can.
We still have 6 geldings and 4 mares we are working with , gentling and getting them excepting a gentle hand and for the boys excepting other horses as friends not a challenge. Buddy left Rainbows Edge today for his Sanctuary home under Triple R Horse Rescue with Sue Jones. Buddy has healed in so many ways during his 2 month here. An injured eye thrush in his feet, abscess in one of his hoofs. Buddy was our first Ocala Paso that made it to the pasture.He was tested several times walking up to mares and other geldings with out any aggression on his part. He comes when called in the pasture halters and stands to be groomed Thank you Ron and Tawsha Wolf for transporting. Welcome to your new home Buddy you will be missed sweet boy.

Teddy hopes everyone had a great weekend. The horses here at Rainbows Edge need your help. The Vet is suppose to be back in 2 weeks for more vaccines and right now Rainbows Edge still owes $700 to AVS Equine Hospital for their last visit for vaccines and re-examine the gelding after surgery. A huge thank you to Anthony for bringing hay for the horses even though we could not pay for it at the time . Thats $800 we owe Anthony for the hay. UPDATE OWNER FOUND .THANK YOU ALL FOR SHARING IT MADE IT TO THE RIGHT PERSON THROUGH SEVERAL SHARES. THEY HAD BEEN LOOKING FOR HER .SHE GOT SCARED FROM A STORM AND ENDED UP ABOUT 5 MILES FROM HOME///////MOM DAD I can't find you . I went for a walk down Little Cat Rd it was scary. A car went past me so fast I felt my fur fly. Then a truck stopped and asked what I was doing out there . I was so hot ,a bit muddy and really wanted to tell her where I lived but I could not remember the way home. She asked if I wanted a ride so I jumped into her arms. We stopped at a pretty big house with a big swimming pool the people there were very nice and made phone calls to people they new close to where I was found but no one knew me. No other houses were close by .There daughter came and she didn't know me either.
The lady that found me brought me back to the farm with her and said she would try and help me find my family. Here is my picture, sorry I look so rough it was very hot out. I am at a Rainbows Edge further down Little Cat on NW Radford Denson Rd, they gave me water and something to eat. You should see the size of these dogs they have here in the fenced lawns , they are huge . I will be right here waiting for you.
