Today’s statewide “Ganjapreneur” operation highlights what SC h**p growers have been saying for years: we need responsible regulations.
Real h**p businesses are ready for standards that keep consumers safe and push out the bad actors.
We’re calling on the SC Legislature to take action in 2026 and establish:
• 21+ age limit
• Testing requirements
• Packaging & labeling rules
• Licenses for all operators
• Serving size guidance
Let’s protect SC consumers and responsible h**p companies.

🚨 URGENT: Congress is VOTING this THURSDAY 9/25/25 on a bill that would BAN all h**p-derived products, including the ones you know, trust, and rely on.
This ban threatens not only your access to safe, effective h**p products. It could devastate thousands of small businesses, kill jobs, and wipe out an entire industry overnight.
⚠️ If you use our products to support your health and well-being, that right is about to be stripped away.
⚠️ If you’re part of the h**p industry as a retailer, farmer, distributor, or brand, your business, your employees, and your livelihood are on the line.
We must act now to stop this.
Your voice can make a difference. Click below to tell your elected officials to VOTE NO on banning h**p-derived products:

HB4004 is not the solution — it’s a step backward for South Carolina’s h**p industry.
Serving caps, tiered restrictions, and vertical integration bans would stifle innovation and shut out small businesses.

SCHAA strongly opposes HB4004 and is closely monitoring its status.
It’s unlikely to move this session — but if it does, we’ll be ready.

Stay informed and stay ready to speak out.

Three bills. One mission: sensible h**p regulation.
HB3935, SB137, and HB3601 all work toward the same goal — reasonable rules that protect consumers, support small businesses, and move South Carolina’s h**p industry forward.

SCHAA proudly supports all three and is working hard to secure hearings, grow sponsorship, and keep the momentum strong.

🚨 BREAKING NEWS: South Carolina's h**p bill clears committee with MAJOR improvements!

We're excited to report that HB 3924 is headed to the House floor... and the changes are significant.

VICTORY for consumers: THC limits have been removed from the bill's language!

The new version simply requires:
âś“ 21+ age restriction
âś“ Products behind counter/locked display
âś“ Direct adult access maintained

These reasonable safeguards protect both consumer access AND our youth.

Together, we're making progress in ensuring responsible access to h**p products across South Carolina.

🚨 BREAKING NEWS: South Carolina's h**p industry faces a MAJOR SHAKE-UP...

The state's House Judiciary Committee just suspended debate on Bill 3924 that would restrict ALL h**p-derived consumables to ages 21+ only.

Here's what you need to know:

✔️ Proposed age requirement: 21 years
✔️ Mandatory ID verification for ALL purchases
✔️ Strict penalties for non-compliance

But here's the catch... lawmakers are struggling with the exact definition of "h**p-derived consumable products."

Representative Johnson is now working to revise and clarify these crucial definitions.

The South Carolina Healthy Alternatives Association (SCHAA) is actively monitoring this development... and working closely with lawmakers to ensure fair and clear regulations.

âť“ How do you think this might impact our local h**p industry?

🚨 BREAKING: Major changes coming to SC's h**p industry...

The House Judiciary just hit the PAUSE button on Bill H3924 during intense debate. Here's what you need to know:

The proposed bill would make it ILLEGAL for anyone under 21 to:
▪️ Purchase h**p-derived products
▪️ Attempt to buy them
▪️ Even possess them

Sellers face serious consequences:
• Fines up to $500
• Possible jail time (up to 30 days)
• Strict ID verification requirements

But here's the twist... lawmakers are struggling with the exact definition of "h**p-derived consumables." Rep. Johnson is now working to clarify these definitions.

We're actively monitoring these developments and working with legislators to ensure clear, consistent regulations that work for everyone.
