Oh, the Places She’ll Go! Middle School girls have kicked off the summer dreaming and casting a vision for who they will and want to be. We’ve got world travelers, future florists, music-lovers, and farmers! We are excited to continue the path of learning about ourselves throughout the summer!

Meals! 🍴
- We need breakfasts M-Th and lunch on Fridays
- You can sign up at the link in our bio

Snacks! 🧃
- We feed our middle school girls snack every day and send home with them. We also send snacks with our high school girls for their lunch breaks at their internships.
- You can buy snacks via our Amazon Wishlist or buy them directly from the store and drop them off. If you decide to drop off send us a dm and let us know!

Transportation + Gas gift cards! 🛞
- Transportation is a huge barrier to access and as staff we spend a lot of time on the road getting everyone to their internship, field trip, or back home after a long day of fun and learning. We drive a lot of miles and as we know gas is not getting cheaper!
- Having trusted volunteers who can say yes to helping get people to their internships or back home after work is so helpful! Also having gas gift cards to either Spinx or QT is also a huge way to help us this summer. You can drop these off on site with us. Just shoot us a dm and we’ll send you the address

A sneak peek into our Business Mixer for the internship that kicks off next week! These are just some of the businesses and people that are making this summer the best for our high school girls!

Our high school girls are kicking off Orientation week for the GrowU Internship Program!

This week they will be setting up professional emails, filling out their payroll info, hearing from business professionals on various soft skills and how to operate in a workplace, and wrapping up the week with a business mixer where they get to meet their boss for the summer and put their new skills to work!

Each summer the girls in this program step out of their comfort zone and dig deeper into their path to success! We can’t wait to see what this group of girls learn and all the ways they develop into professionals who are work force ready.

Valery is the kind of person who leaves a mark wherever she goes. Graduating a year early and serving as this year’s Berea High valedictorian are incredible accomplishments — but even those only scratch the surface of who she is.

She carries a fierceness for love, justice, and understanding into everything she does. Her whimsy and creativity can be seen and felt through her words, her art, and the way she moves through the world. While we could create a mile-long list of awards and accolades, the truth is that WHO she is will always matter more. Her achievements reflect her determination, intelligence, and drive — but her heart is what makes her truly unforgettable.

It is so hard to imagine our programming without these sweet girls next year but we are ready for them to take on the next part of their journeys and to continue standing behind them cheering them on as they do! Valery gave an incredible Valedictorian speech and Ana graduated cm laude! We are so proud of you girls!!!!!!
