We know- it seems like every month there’s some sort of tribute focused around mental health. But, with such a glaring epidemic, how could we expect any less? Mental health is a growing world issue, and we think it’s important that we create a platform where the resources that can assist are able to be showcased.

Good evening, everyone!

United Way of Greater West Michigan is inviting local schools to support our shelter this fall through Coins for a Cause, a simple classroom coin collection benefiting local families experiencing homelessness.

Students can collect spare change throughout the fall, and United Way of Greater Central Michigan will provide all materials needed, including collection containers and a digital toolkit with resources to help promote the collection.

Every coin collected can make a difference. United Way will match the funds raised throughout November for participating shelters, doubling the impact of generosity and providing even more support to families in our community.

Though the donation match is only offered through November, collections can run anytime through December 31st. So, there’s still time to get your school involved! Schools can sign up using the link listed below!
