Modeled after the successful Thistle Farms in Nashville, Tennessee, Jasmine Road, Inc. was established originally as partnership between Christ Church Episcopal (Greenville, SC) and Triune Mercy Center (Greenville, SC) to provide a safe and restorative home for five women who have been victims of prostitution, trafficking, and s*x abuse. By providing a rent-free home for two years while also provi

ding healthcare, jobs skills training, and intensive counseling and trauma-informed therapy, these women will be given the tools they need to heal and contribute to society. In time, there will be a social enterprise program to employ these women and empower them to a living wage.

Last Friday, Jasmine Road had the honor of participating in Bon Secours St. Francis Health System’s 8th Annual Human Trafficking Seminar at Grace Church. This year’s theme highlighted the power of collaboration in identifying, interrupting, and responding to human trafficking in our region.

The day concluded with a powerful panel discussion featuring leaders from across South Carolina, including our own CEO, Lisa O’Connell Hall, who shared her experience and insights alongside fellow advocates and experts on how our communities can work together to identify and ultimately end human trafficking and create a safer future for survivors. 💜

Thank you to Bon Secours St. Francis Health System for bringing together healthcare professionals, law enforcement, community leaders, and advocates for such an important conversation.

Yesterday, the residents of Jasmine Road presented their capstone projects, marking the completion of their 10-week LIFE Skills course! 🎓✨

Throughout the course, residents built valuable skills in personal growth, career exploration, workplace communication, and financial education. For their capstones, each woman chose a topic that interested them and shared what they learned. It was inspiring to see their growth, hard work, and creativity shine through!

A special shoutout to Kim Silver, Jasmine Road Board Chair and Dean of the School of Business and Computer Technology at Greenville Technical College, for facilitating this course and investing in our residents’ growth and development. We’re grateful for her time, expertise, and commitment to helping our residents build skills for the future! 💜

Jasmine Kitchen had the special opportunity to cater a special birthday celebration this past Saturday!

Our catering team rolled up in the Kitchenette and prepared a delicious spread featuring a custom charcuterie board, Southern grit cakes, Lil Smokies, our fan-favorite JK chicken sliders, and a special homemade banana pudding.

Everyone welcomed us with such warmth, enjoyed every bite, and were eager to learn more about our mission. We're so grateful to be part of special moments like these and to share not only great food, but the heart behind Jasmine Kitchen. ❤️
