Caregiver Tip of the Day

Caring for someone with Alzheimer’s? Repetitive questions can be tough, but they’re often a sign of confusion or anxiety, not forgetfulness alone.

Here’s a gentle approach:

Stay calm and patient, even if you’ve answered before.
Respond with reassurance more than correction.
Use a memory aid (like a whiteboard or written note) to display important info

Shift the conversation with a comforting activity or a favorite photo.
