This will be year 29 for HYPE!! I’m thankful for a group of ppl who are committed to making sure the Performing Arts continue through the Hype Crew Program! Thankful to have some young ppl to carry the torch and some adults to share the load. We kicked off the season this week with 88 kids enrolled in 7 different levels of programming (5-17 year olds). More recently opportunities have come to perform for events such as the North Carolina Metropolitan Planning Organization Convention, ECU's Rural Education Institute and performing soon for Thermal Fisher and the Central Carolina Regional Education Service Alliance which is composed of about 19 school districts and affiliate members such as the College of Education at ECU, NCCU, and NCSU. Finally, our HYPE kids will travel and compete in St. Louis Missouri, Georgia, Florida and Virginia this year!!! These staff members are super important to the continued success of HYPE Crew!!
