Women's Action Network Women's Action Network typically meets the 3rd Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m. If you would like to join us at a meeting please RSVP to [email protected].

Women's Action Network meets at 5:30 p.m. on the 3rd Monday of each month. Most meetings are currently held at The Winter Inn, 100 N. Lafayette, Greenville, MI 48838. Meetings consist of a program followed by a short business meeting. Members pay for their own meal during the meeting. To rsvp to a meeting, please visit our website at www.womensaction.net.

📣 We’re looking for new Board Members! 🇩🇰

As we start planning for next year’s Danish Festival, we’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our Board of Directors!

We have some exciting ideas for new events and activities, and we’re looking for people who may be interested in stepping up as directors and helping bring those ideas to life. We’re also looking for volunteers interested in joining committees and helping with different areas of the Festival.

❤️ Please keep in mind that we are a working board. Board members are expected to be actively involved in the planning and operation of the Festival, not just attend meetings.

Before applying, please make sure you are generally available for:
🇩🇰 Board Meetings: Third Thursday of each month at 5:30 PM, February–October
🥞 Open Air Breakfast: Third Friday in July
🎉 Danish Festival Weekend: Third full weekend in August

We’re looking for people who are ready to jump in, work as a team, take ownership of projects, and be positive ambassadors for the Danish Festival in our community. We want Board members who are excited to support the Festival, help make it better, and speak positively about the organization they represent. ❤️

Meet Our September Speaker — Lori Shearer

We’re pleased to welcome Lori Shearer as our guest speaker at tomorrow's meeting (Monday September 21st). Lori is a Belding native, attorney with more than 25 years of legal experience, and a candidate for 8th Circuit Court Judge serving Ionia and Montcalm Counties. Her experience includes family, civil and criminal law, specialty treatment courts, and service as an Administrative Law Judge for the Michigan Department of Corrections.

Guests are welcome! Join us tomorrow, Monday, September 21 at 5:30 p.m. in the dining room at the Winter Inn in Greenville.

After a busy summer, the Women’s Action Network is excited to be back!

With just three meetings remaining in 2026, it’s a great time to come see what WAN is all about! We’re currently welcoming new members and would love to meet you.

Join us tomorrow, Monday, September 21 at 5:30 p.m. in the dining room at the Winter Inn in Greenville.

Our monthly meetings generally feature a guest speaker, a short business meeting and time to network and connect.

WAN is a non-partisan organization that supports women in achieving their personal and professional goals through networking, education, scholarships, and community service.

Here are some of our members’ favorite moments from this year’s Danish Festival! 🇩🇰

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to visit the DF-WAN Marketplace at Veterans Park. We loved seeing the park filled with vendors, food, families, friends, and so many familiar faces throughout the weekend.

We are incredibly thankful for our WAN members and all of the Danish Festival volunteers who put in countless hours behind the scenes to make it all happen. We’re already talking, planning, and working on ideas to make next year’s Marketplace even better!
