Delta Cotton Belles is proud to announce the hiring of Mamie Causey as its first Executive Director. Causey brings extensive leadership experience, strong community relationships, and a deep personal connection to the organization’s mission.

Causey most recently served as Building Manager and Lease Agency Manager for the General Services Administration, where she oversaw operations for the Greenville Federal Building, U.S. Courthouse, and multiple federal lease properties. In this role, she managed contracts, built strong partnerships with agencies and stakeholders, and ensured efficient facility operations.

Her professional background also includes project administration with Robins & Morton, ownership of South Main in Greenville for nearly a decade, public relations work with Delta Regional Medical Center, and a successful career with Pfizer, where she received top national sales recognition. Across each role, Causey has demonstrated strong leadership, operational excellence, and a commitment to community engagement.

Causey holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Delta State University and has been actively involved in numerous community organizations throughout the Mississippi Delta. She has served in multiple leadership roles with Junior Auxiliary of Greenville, including President, and has long been dedicated to Delta Cotton Belles, serving as Treasurer, Public Relations Chairperson, and Board Member. Her additional community involvement includes the Delta Children’s Museum, Little Greenville Garden Club, Washington School, and Leadership Washington County, Class of 2011.

"I am thrilled to be taking on this new role with Delta Cotton Belles. As a charter member of the organization, DCB holds a very special place in my heart, and to see the growth that has taken place, and the new services that have been provided over the last several years is astounding. I am looking forward to continued growth and working hard to ensure Beth's mission of breast health for the Mississippi Delta," said Causey.

A longtime resident of Greenville, Causey is deeply rooted in the community she serves. She and her husband, Davis Causey, have two children, John Davis Causey and Emile Causey. In her free time, Causey enjoys cooking, baking, and caring for her chickens.

"Delta Cotton Belles is proud to welcome Mamie Causey as our first Executive Director. Her lifelong connection to Beth McKnight, our founder, and her passion for our mission made her the perfect choice to lead Delta Cotton Belles forward," said President Rachel McIntire.
