PROM 2026 is in the BOOKS!

On behalf of the HOME board and the prom planning team, THANK YOU all for your support and encouragement. After months of planning and preparations, it was an absolute delight to see everything come together so beautifully. We are humbled by such an overwhelming and positive response and are grateful for the many ways you have supported this event!

We are thankful to all our vendors and parent chaperones. We couldn't have done it without you. Just...thank you.

Most importantly, we hope your teens enjoyed themselves! They are an amazing and fun group. It was a pleasure to serve them and be able to host this event for them.

I sent an email to all the attendees and the photo link is in there, so check it out when you have time! If you have any snapshots you'd like to share, we'd love to see them posted here on the HOME FB page.

This event perfectly captured the vision of HOME! Can't wait to do it again next year!!

📚 Pitt County and surrounding areas Homeschool Families — Are you looking for a co-op for the 2026–2027 school year?

Journey is wrapping up our third year, and we will soon begin preparing for next year. We’re hosting an informational meeting for families who may be interested in learning more about Journey.

Journey is a once-weekly academic homeschool cooperative offering classes for students Kindergarten through 12th grade. Our families meet weekly for engaging classes and community, and parents participate together to help make the co-op run smoothly.

If you’re exploring co-ops for next year and would like to learn more, you’re welcome to attend our informational meeting:

📅 Thursday, March 19
⏰ 6:00–8:00 PM
📍 Grace Church

At the meeting we’ll share information about:
• Classes and program
• Curriculum
• Costs and expectations
• How Journey operates

Please note that no childcare will be provided, so families will need to make arrangements for their children.

Feel free to message or email with questions:

So excited to share that Christmas came a little early for our high schoolers…..

Our “Enchanted Garden” Prom 2026 tickets are now available for purchase! There is a button on the HOME member page as well as the public page that will take you to the registration form and payment through PayPal. HOME members can easily purchase tickets through the app as well.

The prom is open to all homeschoolers and their guests in 9-12th grade (ages 14-18). Non-homeschooled guests are welcome! It will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at The Rustic Rose Hall in Ayden, which is conveniently located for families coming from different areas and is an absolutely gorgeous venue. On-site that evening there will be a professional photographer, a talented DJ, delicious hors d'oeuvres, treats and drinks, multiple photo locations inside and outside for snapshots, door prizes, giveaways and much more. Your student will not want to miss this night!

The HOME Board and the prom planning team want you to know that we are thrilled to be able to offer this event for our high school students this year. Our goal for this event is to celebrate and encourage our high schoolers and to help them connect with each other. We want to provide a safe and fun environment where memories are created and friendships are deepened, leading to a positive experience they will carry with them for years to come! We truly hope your high school student will attend!

Prom tickets would make a great last-minute gift for Christmas. Maybe Grandma or Aunt Susie or whoever doesn’t know what to get your student – this could be it! Please help us spread the word and invite other homeschoolers you know who would love to attend!

Enchanted Garden Homeschool Prom - SAVE THE DATE

April 11 - Saturday

Enchanted Garden Homeschool Prom (07:00 PM - 10:00 PM)

SAVE THE DATE!

HOME cordially invites your students to make plans to attend an evening in an ENCHANTED GARDEN for our Homeschool Prom 2026! This event will be open to homeschooled students in grades 9-12 (age 14-19). The same incredible planning and effort that has been directed into the Middle School Semi-Formal over the past several years is now also being poured into creating a dazzling prom for our high school students!

The event will be held at THE RUSTIC ROSE HALL in Ayden in their spacious and grand ballroom. This venue is not only stunning, but conveniently located for families in Greenville, Winterville, Ayden, Washington and the surrounding areas. On-site that evening there will be at least one professional photographer, a talented DJ, delicious hors d'oeuvres, multiple photo locations inside and outside for snapshots, door prizes, giveaways and much more.

HOME members will pay only $50 per ticket for this memorable event. Non-members have a ticket price of just $60. Ticket sales will begin in early 2026, but mark your calendar now! Tickets will sell out fast!

All attendees must meet grade and age requirements and will be expected to adhere to HOME's Code of Conduct as well as the event dress code, which will be shared when ticket sales open.

If this sounds amazing, but your student is in 6th-8th grade, do not worry - the Middle School Semi-Formal is still happening on February 28th, 2026 at Stokes Farm and ticket sales will begin in November 2025! It will be an awesome event for our middle schoolers!

We hope your students will make plans to attend. Please feel free to share with other homeschool families with high schoolers! Your students will not want to miss out on the high school event of the year!
