The Gamma Mu Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing is delighted to present our FIRST Member Spotlight of the 2025-2027 biennium, Dr. Kylie Padron Newsom ✨

Dr. Newsom is a visionary nurse leader, researcher, and Past President of Gamma Mu Chapter. Earlier this year, she received the Leadership Education Grant from the Sigma Foundation to attend Sigma’s 36th International Nursing Research Congress in Seattle, Washington. During her time at the conference, Dr. Newsom had the opportunity to network with Sigma leadership/colleagues and present her work, “Resilience in Health Science Education: An Integrative Review.”
