Our Vision: To be recognized by people with Down Syndrome and their families, educators, healthcare professionals and the community-at-large as the preeminent organization in Upstate South Carolina for information, networking and advocacy for Down Syndrome.

Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the Down syndrome community? The Down Syndrome Association of the Upstate (DSAU) is seeking dedicated, enthusiastic individuals to join our Board of Directors!

Our DSAU families know that our children with Down syndrome are so much more than a diagnosis. They are sons, daughters, siblings, friends, athletes, artists, advocates, dreamers, and so much more. They each have their own unique personalities, talents, dreams, and gifts—and they make our world a better place simply by being themselves. 💙

Today, we’re especially celebrating the amazing sons and daughters with Down syndrome who remind us every day to embrace differences, celebrate milestones, and cherish the moments that matter most. 🥹✨
