Don’t toss those drink pull tabs this summer!

Each class will compete to collect the most aluminum pull tabs in a friendly school-wide challenge.

All pull tabs collected will be donated to Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC). RMHC helps families stay close to their hospitalized children by providing comfortable lodging, meals, support services, and a home-away-from-home near medical facilities. Funds raised from recycling pull tabs help support these programs and the families who rely on them during difficult times.

The PTA is proud to present this year’s Volunteer of the Year Award to two outstanding teams.

We are incredibly grateful for all of our chairs and executive board members, who came together to accomplish amazing things during a transitional year when many members were brand new to PTA leadership.

These two teams, however, truly stood out for their dedication, teamwork, and tireless efforts throughout the entire year. One team kept our community connected and informed almost daily, sharing the pride, energy, and joy that reflect the true spirit of ACE. The other worked largely behind the scenes, making sure our teachers and staff felt valued, celebrated, and appreciated every step of the way.

Congratulations to the ACE PTA Social Team — Dani Wilkinson, Olivia Humphrey, and Molly Jones — and to the Teacher Appreciation Team — LaBruce Trammel, Amanda Banks, Carrie Tolbert, and Elizabeth Suggs.

Job well done, ladies! 🤍

Thanks to your generosity, the PTA was able to add an Artist in Residence program to the annual budget this year.

, an artist and educator, led workshops teaching students about indigo — an important South Carolina cash crop during the colonial era. 4th and 5th graders created beautiful works of art using screen printing, clay resist techniques and indigo dyeing.

A special thank you to Mrs. Berry and Kristy for bringing this meaningful hands-on experience to our students. We’re so grateful to be able to support enriching related arts opportunities like this at ACE, and we look forward to sponsoring another special enhancement next year. 💙

It was a true honor to listen to the 4 students read their letters to their teachers. Brilliantly written and presented, and so much comedic timing too. We can’t wait to see what you all become!
