Saddle Up Day Camp 2025

Week 1- July 8th -12th Grades 7th - 12th
Week 2 - July 22nd-26th Grades 4th - 6th
Tuesday - Friday 9:00-3:00
Saturday 9:00-12:00 Fun Show!!! Family and friends are welcome to watch!
We want to create a fun and safe way to learn the basics of owning and taking care of your very own horse!
There are twelve spots available each week. We have a beautiful safe indoor riding arena, where we will pair our riders with one of our six horses. Our goal is to create a connection between horse and rider! Along with being paired with a horse, instructors will be available to help with any questions or needs each rider may have, and will work closely with our head trainer who will guide each lesson. Riding will also include trail rides when horse and rider are ready. We will close the week with a fun show on Saturday morning so students can show off their skills to friends and family.
Our days will be full of many activities including:
Bible lessons and crafts.
The care, handling, behavior and parts of a horse. Along with the handling and care of tack and equipment.
And of course riding! Our educated instructors will teach horsemanship, trail, showmanship and equitation during our time in the arena.
Attire needed:
Helmet, required when riding (if you don't have one, we will provide one for you).
Long jeans, with no holes (they can get caught on the saddle).
Closed toe shoes (we have extra boots available if needed).
Each day You will also need to pack a sack lunch and bottle of water, labeled with the rider's name.
So if you're wanting to have an amazing week of devotions, horse training, and new friendships, this is the event for you! Be prepared to be learning new things each and everyday not only about yourself, but also about your horse and how you can be better equipped for future riding! We look forward to this time we will be able to spend with each and every one of you and hope to see you soon!
$225/per student. Please send a $50 deposit made out to Deanna Case to hold your student’s spot. The remainder will be due the first day of camp.

Since our powerful, positive, and beautiful words can heal and uplift, we must be lavish in these words.
When spoken with truth, our words have the ability to change lives. Stop and think about how you communicate.
Do your words encourage people to achieve greatness? Do your words support and help someone who is suffering? Do your words nurture, nourish, and inspire?

Week two of Saddle Up Camp!
Our Bible time this week was about Jesus' life and how we are to follow Him. Our memory verse was John 20:30-31 NIV
[30] "Jesus performed many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book. [31] But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name."
The campers advanced in their riding skills and had a lot fun learning more about horses. They also made some amazing crafts with Karen Dillon and Cindy Beals. We wrapped the day up with games and on Friday horse painting.
It was a wonderful, fun week getting to know all the campers and hanging out with all the volunteers.
A big thank to everyone that helped out. It was definitely a group effort.

Wow! What a fun week! These kids really enjoyed being together and riding horses. It was also good spending time in God's word and learning the great truths of who He is and how we are to live our lives encouraging/spurring one another on.
A big thank you to everyone who came and spent their week encouraging these kids as well as those around them.
