I’m over the moon excited to announce Emma has committed to Michigan State. She will be joining her life long Bestie Ava. Sarah Collick and I have talked about this being a possibility for years and it’s actually happening. I’m so excited for the future for the first time in what feels like forever.
Emma’s future roommate Lauren is such a special girl and I’m so happy her and Emma chose to be friends. Lauren’s mom Candie Lynn is one of only a few west side friends that actually meet Timmy.
Candie (a childhood cancer survivor) was in nursing school the first time post chemo that we brought Timmy to Greenville to see his grandparents and when he needed his neupogen shot she saved the day and gave him his injection. I was too scared to at first. It wasn’t long before injected himself. Forever grateful.
As hard as November and the holidays are Emma brings us so much pride and joy. Her future is so bright and I feel so blessed to be her mom.

We said goodbye to our baby Little today. She was the greatest little dog I could have asked for. Please keep Emma in your thoughts and prayers 💔

This was our second visit to Jimmy Houston’s ranch in Oklahoma. Timmy was on hospice at this time I believe it was in May. So a lot of his s***k was missing. But his love and skill for fishing was like no other. He was 3 using an open faced real. Forever thankful to Jimmy Houston Outdoors and Benefit4Kids for this amazing memory we still cherish. And especially to Jimmy and Chris for opening their doors and hearts to us.

Seventeen years ago, on a Friday the 13th, you were taken from us way too soon. Not a day passes that I don’t think about you and wonder what your life would be like. I am certain of two things: you and your father would share an unbreakable bond, and you would be extremely protective and proud of your sister. Your baby sister is truly exceptional. She is so smart, kind, empathetic, inclusive, and a bit of a smart ass {in a good way) just to name a few of her great qualities. She is starting her senior year with a 4.125 GPA and multiple college credits. She has a job at Tropical Smoothie, and has boyfriend of almost a year.
Today your dad is fishing with Uncle Joe. I know they both wish you were with them. Your sister and I are going to do some retail therapy and shop for senior pictures. Aunt Sarah and the big baby ( what Timmy called Ava she is 4 months older than Emma) will be up for the night. As I remember and mourn your loss today, I am incredibly grateful for Emma Faith. Whom along with you gives me the strength to get out of bed each day. She shows me that the future is bright through all the darkness.
My Angel boy please continue to watch over her, guide, and protect her like only you can do.
I love and miss you more than words could ever express.

Yes Little is still alive she is 14 and has a tumor but thankfully she is alive laying next to me this morning. Being that she was born on your birthday I feared her cancer might take her today.

Today and every day I’m so thankful for all of my friends snd family and the continued support we continue to receive. All of you remembering my angel boy truly means alot. It reminds me of how many lives he touched and changed is his short 4 years .
Im extremely grateful for my sister Sarah Collick who has been by my side through everything and continues to show up when i need her.

Hug your loved ones, say YES to them and if it’s an option grab a pole and do some fishing.

Happy 21st birthday to my Angel Boy!
I can’t believe you would be turning 21 today. It breaks my heart thinking about how your life should be. I’m forever grateful for you making me a mom and the time I got with you, and angry we still don’t have you.
Extremely thankful for Emma she truly is my life saver. You would be so proud of her. She is so super smart, kind, empathetic, beautiful, and a little bad ass.
Our Little dog turned very 14 today forever thankful to Mandy McCoy for talking me into coming to “borrow” her. She definitely adds a tiny light to a dark day.

PLEASE donate if you can. As most of you know HollyandVern Van Kehrberg is an angel helping so many animals. Dropping everything she has going on in her own busy life to run and advocate and rescue these helpless animals. I’ve been so proud of her for years. She has given me the honor to foster to adopt one of these puppies if they survive. I was on the phone with her when she getting ready to go race to the vet feeling just a small part of what she does regularly had my heart racing. I was instantly invested in these babies.

As most of you know June is a very depressing month for us.
Please, please, donate, share, and send all the positive vibes to our little princess.
