The Holistic Health Practitioners of Eastern North Carolina are endeavoring to reach out to the community, make our presence more visible, and establish a referral pool among like-minded practitioners and affiliates. We believe that by organizing, setting goals, and working together, we can bridge the sometimes large distance between the traditional medical establishment and the alternatives we ha

ve to offer. We intend to do this by maintaining a network of information, by sharing ideas, and by providing a professional organization that can interface with the community. Together we can make a difference in the lives of those around us.

Mindful Eating- Finding the Balance with Joy!
Experience how to fully enjoy balanced eating through practicing a state of mindfulness. Too often we eat without being fully aware of our own sense of enjoyment, fulfillment and appreciation. This workshop taught by Registered Dietitian Karen Warren will teach you the principals of how to use mindfulness to focus on your internal cues of hunger, fullness, and joyfulness to nourish yourself in a wholesome way and maintain a healthy weight.

HHP will be at the ECU Staff Senate Health Walk on Wednesday April 9th, 2014. The walk begins at noon and set up will begin at 11 a.m.. Anyone interested may bring their business cards to the event! The event will last around 2 hours. Massage therapist willing to set up massage chairs are greatly appreciated! Miller Motte students will be there with their chairs!
