Domestic Violence Assistance

I have an urgent need for some household items and gift cards for a client and her two young boys.
Things took a turn for the worst and I had to get her and the boys out yesterday. They will be moving into a new place within the next several weeks. She left with nothing and won’t get things out of the house for many months.
The boys need to be able to decorate their own bedrooms (I can’t go into detail why) so if you’d like to buy Walmart gift cards for the boys to shop with.

Here’s my needs:
2 small dressers for the boys
Queen bed/bedding for mom
Dresser for mom
Kids bookshelf
Small coffee table
One TV

I’m also going to help mom out with Christmas for the boys. Let me know if you’d like to help sponsor and buy some gifts.

Do your kids (elementary, middle, high, college, sorority) need Service Hours? I have a great opportunity to get hours and help abuse victims and their children.
Attached is a flyer former students typed up for a donation pickup they did in their subdivision for hours.

Year 16 of a local church sponsoring 30 of my families for Christmas. Such a wonderful thing to do for some of the abuse victims referred to me this year. One less thing for moms to worry about, we help them with gifts for their kids.

This is the time of year that domestic violence cases start to climb. If you know someone in an abusive relationship PLEASE DON’T simply tell them to leave. For one, it’s a hard decision to choose to leave but most importantly, it’s the most dangerous time when a victim chooses to leave. If you don’t know how to help/talk to them, reach out to me or have them reach out.
Careful what you text/email them because many times their abuser is tracking their phone.
