For black women, Equal Pay Day is August 7th. That’s more than seven extra months into the year that black women have to work in order to earn what their white male counterparts earned last year alone.

How you start is how you finish. Help give 720 students at Tanglewood Middle School a fresh start and encourage them to take the first steps to a wonderful school year.

The make of the population at Tanglewood is 80% Minority students with 45% African-Americans and 35% Hispanic. It's hard to be what you cannot see. We are looking for MALE volunteers to help us welcome these young scholars back to school.
