A Belated Thank You!

I'm beyond grateful for everyone's support of Pazdan's Peloton, benefiting the Cancer Survivors Park in loving memory of my dad, Joe Pazdan. While this post should have been shared last week, life with three kids and returning from a trip got the best of me, but I couldn't let another day pass without expressing my gratitude.

Your generosity and kindness have truly humbled me. Together, we raised almost $36K, an amount that exceeds my wildest expectations. With this incredible sum, we're able to keep the Beacon of Hope Lights shining bright each month, representing every cancer recognized.

We honor the fighters, the survivors, and the loved ones we've lost. We're all survivors in our own way, and the Cancer Survivor's Park stands as a beacon of hope, refuge, and reflection.

In the words of the Cancer Survivors Park: "The intent of the Cancer Survivors Park is to create a space which provides: A space for celebration, a space for learning, a space for healing, and a space for hope."

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for helping us make a difference and keeping the spirit of my dad alive in such a meaningful way.

🌟 Meet Joe Pazdan 🌟

Saturday, April 27th, we honor the remarkable life and legacy of Joe Pazdan – a man who touched countless hearts with his kindness, dedication, and unwavering love. As we prepare for the Pazdan's Peloton event, it's essential to reflect on the extraordinary individual this event is dedicated to.

Joe Pazdan was more than just a name; he was a beacon of light in our community. As a loving husband, father, uncle, colleague, leader, and advocate, he embodied the values of compassion, integrity, and generosity.

From his role as a founding partner of Pazdan Smith Group, which later merged to become McMillan Pazdan Smith, to his tireless efforts in making Greenville a better place to live, Joe's impact was profound. You can see touches of Joe throughout Greenville, whether it's from the buildings designed by his architecture firm or his participation on the boards of companies dedicated to enhancing our city, making it a better place to live, work, and play.

His selflessness knew no bounds as he dedicated his time and talent to serving others.

A passionate cyclist and devoted spin class attendee, Joe understood the importance of staying active and prioritizing health. Yet, amidst his pursuits, family remained at the forefront of his life. His love for Ginny, his wife, was evident in every moment they shared.

Joe's zest for life extended beyond his professional endeavors; he cherished moments with loved ones, relished in travel adventures, and embraced each day with gratitude and joy.

We continue to celebrate Joe Pazdan – a man whose legacy continues to inspire us to live with purpose, to cherish our loved ones, and to make a difference in the world. As we pedal forward in his memory, may we carry his spirit of love, resilience, and generosity with us.
