We just finished two programs in Atlanta - one in Atlanta Metro Prison and another at the Church of Atlanta Lighthouse. Again our hearts have been filled with gratitude and joy for the opportunity to go into institutions and share the life changing message that a relationship with Jesus Christ can bring. We have laughed and cried, encouraged, and in return have been encouraged. Challenging men, women, and children to put Christ first is a calling and we have seen firsthand once more what only He can do!

An amazing day in Taylorsville, NC, at Alexander Correctional and East Taylorsville BC. Breakfast together and then two great programs - one inside the prison with 20 dads and their children and another at the church with the caregivers. Continue to pray for these families as they say goodbye today.

There are directors in the US prison system that are dedicated to seeing inmates' lives and the lives of their families changed for the better. So many we know personally, and Jennifer is definitely one at the top. Looking forward to serving again in Texas soon!

Day 2 is in the books! By the time we scrimmaged today every athlete was better - all the games we played improved their skills in noticeable ways. We talked about encouragement (I Thessalonians 5:11) and it was evident throughout the day that these kids know what that means! What a great group! It was also refreshing to hear our CITs (Counselors in Training) talk about personal lessons learned through sports!
