The problem is this: those of us who are never satisfied with our accomplishments secretly believe nobody will love us unless we’re perfect. We don’t think of our flaws as the glue that binds us to the people we love, but they are. Grace only sticks to our imperfections. Those who can’t accept their imperfections can’t accept grace either.

U Good, Bro?! Inc.™ is a non-profit organization focused on the psychological, social, and emotional health of Black men and boys. UGB™ monthly solution focused convenings, are designed to provide a private, brave space for transparency, vulnerability, and liberation. It’s a space where it’s okay to say that you’re not okay, but also a space for sheer accountability.

UGB™ experiences are with like-minded Brothers from across the country, in the sense of creating a non-judgmental zone with those who fellowship and embrace the realities of being a Man, all while strategizing on how to navigate through critical areas that are essential for them to be better examples of what healthy manhood looks like. We operate from the hashtag , where if you read between the lines, the emphasis is that MEN HEAL MEN.

The goal is that anytime a Brother is asked , "U Good, Bro?!", he can say "Yes!" and mean it. Our motto is "Let's Keep the Conversation Going, Brothers!"

Another 🔥 U Good, Bro?! Convening in the books!

Thankful to the Most High for this great, intergenerational gathering of men, from ages as young as three years old to as seasoned as 70 years old! Brothers brought their sons, their father-in-laws, nephews, etc., as well as their experiences, wisdom, and transparency. Common themes from Saturday include:

Tough, brave, strong... wife cheating... hunting... "I get money"... how to handle life... ride a bike... working out... "let a situation go instead of holding on"... dressing appropriate at the time... "I let my attitude get the best of me"... going silent after discussions... educated, successful, mindful, humble... continue to press on and don't hold on... being raised by men in my family... things I did in high school... death of my grandmother... worrying whether people liked me or not... "I admit I am not perfect"... getting married... being transparent with true feelings... when I make my family proud... more of a positive influence... failing his children... knowing when to admit you are wrong or not good at something... sabotaging good things... stable finances... protecting people... "I need more one-on-one with you"... a great all-around man... "I WANT TO BE A GOAT"!
