Yeah… we opened right there. No warm-up. No surface talk. Just truth. Another 🔥 U Good, Bro?!™ Convening in the books.

Gratitude to the Most High for the Brothers who showed up honest, accountable, & willing to grow. Salute to GK Café & Catering for always setting the table, physically & communally.

We realized the difference between being a thermostat vs. a thermometer
🙏🏽 reacting to the relationship vs. setting the tone for it

We wrestled with this truth:
🙏🏽 Are we centered in ego… or grounded in partnership?

We unpacked independence vs. interdependence
🙏🏽 Strong women don’t need to be controlled, they need to be understood and complemented

We leaned into delegation based on strengths
🙏🏽 Marriage isn’t 50/50, it’s 100/100 in different areas

We confronted learned behaviors
🙏🏽 Some of us are loving how we were taught… not how our partner needs

We acknowledged what’s often missing:
🙏🏽 Love languages not being spoken fluently

👊🏾 “Everybody has a plan… until life hits, or get punched in the mouth like Mike Tyson said.”
👊🏾 “Do you want a response… or do you want me to listen?”
👊🏾 “Thank you for just listening.”
👊🏾 “Get to know YOUR wife.”
👊🏾 “Be her calm when life gets loud.”
👊🏾 “Peace isn’t avoidance, it’s intentional presence.”
👊🏾 “I don’t want to be compared, I want to be understood.”
👊🏾 “There is pressure… but I look forward to it.”

The problem is this: those of us who are never satisfied with our accomplishments secretly believe nobody will love us unless we’re perfect. We don’t think of our flaws as the glue that binds us to the people we love, but they are. Grace only sticks to our imperfections. Those who can’t accept their imperfections can’t accept grace either.

UGB™ monthly solution focused convenings, are designed to provide a private, brave space for transparency, vulnerability, and liberation. It’s a space where it’s okay to say that you’re not okay, but also a space for sheer accountability.

UGB™ experiences are with like-minded Brothers from across the country, in the sense of creating a non-judgmental zone with those who fellowship and embrace the realities of being a Man, all while strategizing on how to navigate through critical areas that are essential for them to be better examples of what healthy manhood looks like. We operate from the hashtag , where if you read between the lines, the emphasis is that MEN HEAL MEN.
