Bond County Fourth Fest

This cool chicken foot cane was left at the Bond County Fourth Fest. We saw a guy dancing with it in front of the stage, but don’t know who it was. Would really like to return it to the owner.

UPDATE: Thank you all for your support! This post has been viewed over 100,000 times!

Public Service Announcement: Do not hire Roland Turner from Nu Wave Laser Light Show, booked through ATA Talent Agency in Springfield, MO. This is the company that completely ruined our Bond County Fourth Fest America 250 Grand Finale.

We asked for a refund/partial refund and were denied. It was an expensive lesson for us. We are exploring other options/recourse, while trying to be good stewards of Fourth Fest funds.

FYI: He was supposed to meet with Fourth Fest staff at 10 am July 4 to coordinate the show. Instead, he showed up at 5pm. We grilled him in our hospitality room while he was eating our food. He said it was all under control. We met with him again around 6pm with our production team and he again said it was under control. We specifically asked, "what does that even mean."

If you gander at his FB page, you can see he spent his time in Greenville fanboying instead of preparing and prepping for his show. He had a great time.

We apologize again to everyone again for the awful laser show.

If anyone has photos on what was supposed to be a laser show at Fourth Fest, could you send them to us via PM or post them here. Feel free to include a 😂 or a 😢 or a 💩.

Thank you.

What was your favorite part of Fourth Fest?

07/06/2026

On behalf of the Bond County Fourth Fest Committee, we extend a great big THANK YOU to everyone who supported, donated, volunteered, sponsored, and attended this year's Bond County Fourth Fest!

Because of your incredible support, another Fourth Fest is in the books, and what a celebration it was. A special and heartfelt thank you goes to the City of Greenville for being an outstanding partner every step of the way. From city leaders and staff to public works crews and volunteers, the City's commitment helped make this event a tremendous success.

This year's festival was made possible by 98 generous sponsors who helped fund a budget of more than $90,000. Your investment in our community allowed us to provide two days of family fun, entertainment, and patriotic celebration that brought thousands of people together.

The weather cooperated, the bands raved about the hospitality they received, and festival-goers enjoyed plenty of food, refreshments, and activities. From the Foam and Bubble Parties to the Princess Party and even a special appearance by Captain America, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

Most importantly, thank you to the people of Bond County and the surrounding communities. Your attendance, enthusiasm, and support are what make Fourth Fest such a special tradition.

Finally, we would like to address the laser show. Quite simply, it was unacceptable in every way. We understand the disappointment it caused and sincerely apologize to everyone who was looking forward to that part of the celebration. It was the one blemish on an otherwise outstanding weekend, and we share your frustration.

We look forward to welcoming you back on July 2 and 3, 2027, when we'll do everything possible to make next year's Bond County Fourth Fest bigger, better, and brighter than ever.

Thank you, Bond County. Together, we proved once again that nobody celebrates America's birthday quite like this community does. 🇺🇸

P.S. We always like to hear your ideas and suggestions. Feel free to comment below.
