What does it take to be a "Hero"?

The teens have looked at Matthew 25:34-46 to find that it takes giving and sharing what we have with others who are in need. We don't have to have the power to see through walls, we just have to have the power of service to be a hero to someone.

THIS WEEK IS HOMETOWN HEROS WEEK!!!
So far we've made appreciation cards for St. Francis' Nurses, and local firefighters, listened as Sterling's "Seniors on the Go" shared how their lives have impacted our past and our futures, and have looked at what it takes to be a hero-service to others. Join us as we continue to honor our Hometown Heros!

The teens painted pictures of appreciation and presented them to our Seniors on the go for the sacrifices that they made to make our lives what they are today. They also made Thank You cards for thier parents and catchers for a "just because" gift for whom ever they choose.
