As we remember the anniversary of the organization of the IAFF let us remember all those who sacrifice so much and risk their lives everyday.
Yesterday was a pretty rough day for emergency services. There was an apartment fire in Tulsa,OK with 3 FF's injured and taken to the hospital. Later a Houston FF was Hospitalized while battling a house fire. A Fire Chief in New Jersey suffered a Cardiac Arrest while in Command of a Large House Fire. 3 Police Officers were shot while responding to a Domestic dispute in Virginia - and 1 of those officers made the Ultimate Sacrifice - only her 2nd Day on the Job - Fresh out of the Academy. An ambulance in Baltimore County MD was T-Boned - the Crew member heavily entrapped and was air lifted with serious injuries.
