Please support team Winn the Fight in the upcoming Dragon Boat Festival. The Dragon Boat Upstate Festival, now in its 11th year, has raised over $2.2 million in support of local families! Paddlers, volunteers and supporters enjoy a day at the lake while supporting cancer research and survivorship programs through the Cancer Institute at GHS. As I sit here at the cancer center . I feel very thankful that it has been a year since my mom's last treatment and all is well. We had a great Thanksgiving and hope everyone else did also. Now is the time to really get cranked up and ready for the Dragon Boat races!

Thanks to gifts made to Dragon Boat Upstate Festival cancer patients have access to more than 125 active clinical trials, which includes studies via the Institute for Translational Oncology Research (ITOR) for the following cancer origin locations and/or types: bladder, breast, colon, leukemia, lung, lymphoma, melanoma, multiple myeloma, myelodysplasia, ovarian, pancreatic, prostate and renal.
