Delicious pastries prepared by our own congregation will be offered as well as hot foods and holiday treats that are traditional in many Jewish homes. While savoring these delicacies, attendees can observe many different aspects of Jewish life. Learn about the Jewish culture and traditions! Throughout the Temple, exhibits are arranged for people to visit and learn about Judaism; the Jewish history
and culture; the Hebrew language; and the religion. This will include Jewish holiday presentations, a Torah display, Jewish life cycle events, information about Israel and lectures by local Rabbis. Additional activities include Israeli dancing, cooking demonstrations, live music and games for children. Be part of the diversity of the Upstate! A festival of this magnitude needs the support of the community to be a success. We invite the entire Upstate of South Carolina and Western North Carolina to participate. We need your help to make ShalomFest'11 a success. We are offering multiple tax deductible sponsorship opportunities.
