Looking back during our 75th Anniversary year: On this day, June 24 in 1956, Mount Calvary Lutheran Church dedicated its church building at 908 West Oak Street in Greenville,Michigan. From 24 charter members in 1951 the church had grown to 80 members in 1956 at the time of the dedication! Praise God! (click pics for more info.)

May 31, 2026 is TRINITY SUNDAY in the 75th Anniversary of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church in Greenville, Michigan. In this window of the church, the triangle represents the Trinity: Father, Son and Spirit – equal. The circle denotes no beginning and no end - eternity. It also symbolizes perfection, completeness, continuity and the eternal life of the Christian. Together, the triangle and the circle depict the eternity of the Trinity. “Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost!”

Sunday, May 24, 2026, is Pentecost and Mount Calvary Lutheran Church of Greenville, Michigan, celebrates 75 years of blessings since its congregation’s FIRST worship service on Pentecost Sunday in 1951. This window in the church depicts the Holy Spirit descending, both at the baptism of Jesus and to the disciples at Pentecost. Just as the same Holy Spirit of the first Pentecost blessed this local group of eager disciples, it has continued to do so for the next 75 years and counting, as we are “Joyfully Following Jesus by Living, Loving and Serving”! Thanks be to God!
