The Jens Jensen landscaping project is underway and near completion for Phase 1. Using “lasagna gardening” technique, Holly Crump is leading this amazing group of “volunteers” in the transformation of the yard surrounding the DCC. No herbicides are being used in the process and all materials including time and effort have been donated ❤️ Watch to see what happens next! Mange Tak everyone!

At the 2026 Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner & Awards the Danish Cultural Center was awarded a “2025 Refubishing Award” and a “Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition” from Michigan’s Second Congressional District.
