Our Mission:
Our mission is to assist victims who has experienced, or are being threatened with domestic violence. This can be in the form of mental, emotional, financial, physical or sexual, abuse. Our goal is to increase the community’s awareness to the ever changing face of abuse and to help educate everyone involved; the victim, mother, father, sister, brother, child, the as well as the abuse
r of this all too common problem. We are here to offer support and safe surroundings for victims and their children so we can start facilitating resolutions to the immediate event at hand. Once we have secured the victims safety then we will assist in planning for their long-term needs so they can see themselves as survivors not a victim. We are a nonprofit organization that gives our help by offering our experience strengths, and hope to our local shelters, police department, and hospital staff. We offer additional education and hands on awareness to domestic violence as well as sexual abuse by hosting fundraiser events to supplement these already established safe houses. Concrete Angels strictly depend on local businesses and the generosity of other individuals to cover the cost of these events. 100% of the funds raised over the cost of events go directly to the shelters. We accept no payment for our time and or our own investment into these events. Our Goal:
To end the epidemic of domestic violence against men, women, and children by stopping individual victimization and reducing the devastating impact of family violence through education, awareness, and helping assist victims get to local shelters where expert services for battered victims and their children is available.
