What a day! 🎿

The Weyerhaeuser Timber Classic was a great success with about 50 kids putting down some tracks for both Giant Slalom (GS) and Slalom races on Saturday.

Big thanks to the incredible efforts of the team at Friends of the Mountain (Big Moose Mountain) for hosting these kids (especially the extra help with putting in a starting spot!), the multiple volunteers for gate tending, side slipping, time-keeping etc., the coaches, the cheering public, and the participants!!

Keep screamin' down that mountain! 🦅

Red Eaglers had a blast with our first day up in the mountain yesterday the 28th. Tomorrow, the 30th, we will have another race camp session from 10-11:30AM and 1-2:30PM!

After that we will start our Sunday schedule training days for the rest of the season. Please come early to check in at the yurt if your kids plan to participate so we can register them! Don‘t forget to wear your team coats!

So excited to be on the mountain knocking down some gates and taking names!!

Wow - what a night! Thank you all for showing up and showing out last night to Leisure Life Resort for our annual fundraising - it was a SCREAM! You all paddled the heck out of our incredible prizes and raised over $10,000 to support the team with gear, maintenance, and other initiatives to keep kids in our great outdoors.

Wow - what a night! Thank you all for showing up and showing out last night. We had Steve, the Moose-caller, in top form, great grub from our hosts, incredible items up for auction, and YOU ALL, the enthusiastic crowd of supporters buying up shotskis, outbidding each other, and generously giving to our Foundation.

We can't thank all of you enough for joining us: our sponsors and donors who are a part of the local community, our parents and skiers, and our home mountain in Big Moose Mountain (Friends of the Mountain). It definitely takes a village to make sure we get the next generation of ski racers up on those slopes.

Once again, we want to thank all of our donors (listed below - please comment & tag any missed ones!) And check out a few choice "shots" of the night! See you at the race gate!
