Good evening, at this time we have made a decision to reschedule our Winter Field Day due to the impending winter weather. We will discuss the new date at our next regular meeting. In the meantime I hope you've made preparations for this event and stay safe.

All you need is a tablecloth, maybe some flyers, brochures, photos of your club/group's events, maybe a banner, smiling faces, and a few members to share with others your passion for the hobby... This is a chance for your group to invite others to join your group, come to a few meetings/events.

▪️W2B will be in operation from 1500Z - 2000Z on 14.275 MHz. A QSL card will be sent with a SASE
▪️KA4TAL from 1500 - 2000 UTC on 14.255, 7.264, 14.275, and 7.185 MHz. Request and e-Certificate via email address. QSL Cards accepted and sender will receive a QSL card in return
▪️WJ4DD from 0400 - 0400 UTC on 7.225 and 14.250 MHz. A certificate is available

ARRL is calling on GMRS operators to join its grassroots campaign to pass the Amateur Radio Emergency Preparedness Act!

Even though you may not be an FCC-licensed amateur radio operator, as an FCC-licensed GMRS operator, you can help by sending a letter to each of your Congressional Representatives and your Senators

LAST CALL for Amateur Radio Tracking Operators 🎈

Tomorrow (Aug. 13) he Kopernik Observatory in Vestal, New York, will be running a High Altitude Balloon Camp for local high school students

👉Drew Deskur, KA1M, the Director of the Kopernik Observatory, is asking for volunteer amateur radio operators to track the flight on aprs.fi and download the SSTV images if possible.
