💜✨ THANK YOU FOR HELPING US SERVE WITH LOVE ✨💜

Today, Our Hidden Treasures, Inc. and friends had the honor of serving the wonderful ladies at a local women’s home, and our hearts are overflowing with gratitude.

Because of the generosity of our family, friends, supporters, and community, we received ALL of the requested donations, including toiletries, personal care items, bedding, pillows, pillowcases, and more. Not only that, but enough monetary donations were received to provide the ladies with a delicious Olive Garden lunch! 🥖🥗🍝

A very special thank you to Ms. Harriet for welcoming us into the home and allowing us the opportunity to love on her friends. Your trust, kindness, and partnership made this day possible.

To every person who donated, volunteered, shared our posts, prayed, encouraged, or supported this effort in any way—THANK YOU. Your generosity reminded these women that they are seen, valued, loved, and not forgotten.

Today was about more than donations. It was about dignity. It was about community. It was about showing God’s love through action.

We are incredibly grateful and look forward to continuing our mission of serving others and uncovering the hidden treasures within our community. 💜

“You Are Loved.”

And today, we didn’t just read it on the wall we lived it.

What a beautiful, grace-filled day. We gathered together to serve, and the energy in that room was nothing but warmth, joy, and compassion. Every single person showed up with smiles. No hesitation. No complaints. Just love in action.

Some stood in the rain to serve.
Some walked bed to bed to make sure the gentlemen who couldn’t get up were still seen.
Some greeted with hugs.
Some prayed quietly.
All of us gave what we had.

And the beautiful thing is when we didn’t have enough, God provided.

In this season, I’ve felt like I’ve been pouring from an empty cup. But today reminded me that God always sends refill. He sends people. He sends strength. He sends confirmation. Since 2018, He has been faithful to this vision, and He continues to cover it.

To every person who donated, prayed, showed up, and supported this mission seen and unseen thank you. Your kindness matters. Your obedience matters. Your yes matters.

A special thank you to the manager at Bojangles who, when I shared why I was ordering so many biscuits, immediately offered to help discounts, donations, whatever was needed to make sure this event came together. That kind of generosity is a reminder that when we step out in faith, God sends provision through people.

Let’s continue to be gentle with each other.
Let’s give grace freely.
Let’s choose kindness, even when it’s inconvenient.
Let’s remember that sometimes just showing up is ministry.

And to Rashad and Oakleigh thank you for loving me through every season and being exactly what I need right now. I don’t do any of this alone.

God is so good. Always has been. Always will be.

“You are loved.” 🧩🙏🏽

Look momma, I made it 🥰📚✈️

Reading has always been a way for me to travel before I ever stepped on a plane. Books took me places my feet hadn’t reached yet… and now I get to help create a space where authors do that for others.

The Black Book Fair isn’t just an event — it’s a celebration of stories, voices, culture, and imagination. It’s about supporting the people who help us see the world differently, one page at a time.

If you love books, storytelling, community, and creativity, this space was created for YOU.

Come out, support these amazing authors, meet vendors, and be part of something meaningful.

Because sometimes the journey starts with a passport…and sometimes it starts with a book. 📖✨
