Canine Healing Project We believe in the power of healing between dogs and humans The Canine Healing Project is a non profit associated with The Noble Dog Hotel.

Our project mission is to rescue at risk dogs from Greenville Animal Care and train/certify them to be therapy dogs. During their training they will be cared for by the team at The Noble Dog Hotel and live the life of luxury. Once they have earned their certification they will be available for adoption. We encourage all adopters to become certified as a handler and participate in the community dog therapy program visiting local hospitals, schools, special needs centers, nursing homes, and more. Hampton, our first rescue will reside permanently at the hotel and be our spokesdog for the program!

🚨 ZURI WOULD LIKE A WORD. 🚨

She put on her wings.
She went out in public.
She smelled the flowers.
She posed.
She even gave us the dramatic “staring into the distance thinking about my future” shot.

And somehow… SHE IS STILL SINGLE.

At this point, she’s wondering what more a girl has to do around here. 🐶

Zuri is potty trained, good with dogs, good with kids, and has a personality approximately 47 times larger than her body.

She’s sweet. She’s funny. She has opinions. And apparently she’s a butterfly now, so there’s really nothing left for us to work on.

Someone adopt Zuri before she grows another set of wings and flies off to find her own family. 🦋

Yep. And they need our help.

Rescue only works when we all support each other. ❤️ We may be all about the dogs around here, but when someone reaches out needing help finding homes for animals in their care, we’re going to do what we can.

These sweet faces—some little, some not so little—are looking for their forever homes, and we’re hoping someone in our CHP community might be exactly who they need.

Being adorable, 6.6 pounds, AND having a full personality still isn’t enough to get adopted around here. 🙄

Marlin is still waiting on his forever home.

He’s about 10, enjoys his people, has opinions, and would like everyone to know that he is NOT desperate. He’s simply accepting applications for the position of “person who gets to spoil Marlin for the rest of his life.”

She’s 9 months old, around 50 pounds and believed to be an Aussie/Shepherd/Heeler mix. She’s also another sweet girl from Polk County looking for her forever home.

🐾 Good with dogs of all sizes and ages
🐾 Crate trained AND housebroken
🐾 Curious, confident, outgoing and fun
🐾 Super smart and food motivated — snacks are definitely her love language
🐾 Spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines

Zuri is still looking for her family! She’s sweet, silly, potty trained, great with dogs and kids, and has SO much personality.

She’s working on her leash skills, and yes… she has opinions and she will absolutely tell you about them. 😂

Meet Titus. 🐾💙

This sweet 10-year-old boy was just hours away from euthanasia when Polk County reached out for help.

A team effort between Polk County and Canine Healing Project got Titus to safety, and an incredible transport flew him straight to his new dad.

Yesterday, Titus made it HOME. 🥹

He now has a huge farm, pup brothers and sisters, and a dad who already loves him.

From hours away from euthanasia to safe, loved, and home.

Titus is saved, and his best chapter is just beginning. 🐾

From the euthanasia list to officially adopted — Shadow got the ending he deserved. 🐶

This sweet senior came to us needing a second chance, and it didn’t take long for the perfect family to find him.

They didn’t even need the full two-week home trial to know Shadow was theirs. 🏡

SHADOW IS OFFICIALLY ADOPTED! 🎉

We couldn’t have asked for a better family for this sweet boy. Happy forever, Shadow.

ONE WEEK into his home trial and Shadow is doing SO well! We are hoping this trial turns into his forever home. Keep those paws crossed for this boy 🤞🧡

The news we’ve been waiting for... Ren is OFFICIALLY ADOPTED! 🎉 After more than a year with us, he’s got his own family now, learning his new routine and settling into his new normal. A YEAR! This is the kind of update that makes it all worth it.

Zion needs an experienced foster or adopter❤️.

He is sweet as can be once he trusts you, but that trust takes time. He needs someone with Rottweiler experience who understands the breed, can read his body language and will not rush the process. He does well with other dogs, and once he feels safe, you get to see just how sweet he really is.

Zion is currently working with Jetline Canine, and continued training support will come with him.

Harold is still looking for his person… and at this point we really need someone to explain to him why nobody has picked that face yet. 🤍

This sweet senior guy still LOVES his ball, loves being with his people, and has plenty of play left in him. Then when he’s done, he’s perfectly happy to give you this exact little face and wait for whatever comes next.

Harold is around 9, good with other dogs, and just such an easy guy to love.

Somebody come get your new best friend. He’s been waiting.
