On behalf of The Community Foundation of NC East, it is with great pleasure that we pay tribute to Black History Month by honoring Mr. Walter Bolden, CEO and President of Bolden Auto Broker, LLC. Walter is a very distinguished leader in the automotive industry driven by the fundamental belief that our stories – and how we share them, truly matter! With over 35 years of experience in business, Walter has built a reputation for integrity and excellence in Greenville, North Carolina and Pitt County, where he specializes in luxury pre-owned vehicles sales and personalized client service.

Beyond his business success, Walter is a dedicated Philanthropist who serves as the Treasurer for The Community Foundation of NC East, Board of Directors, where he has devoted years of service and dedication to the CF of NC East Donor Families. His journey in Philanthropy is deeply rooted in the values of perseverance and joy passed down through his years of service with our Foundation as well as his more than 28 years of devoted service to The Sycamore Hill Missionary Baptist Church where he has served as the Director of Music Ministries & The Arts.

For Walter, Black History Month is a living Legacy! It is not just a reflection on the past, but an active commitment to the history that is being made today. Through his leadership and consistent giving, he is proud to contribute to a lasting impact that empowers the community for generations to come.

Join us in expressing our deepest appreciation to Walter for his unwavering support, dedication and commitment to the mission of The CF of NC East, which is Promoting, Enabling & Celebrating Philanthropy in Eastern North Carolina, For Good For Ever!

On behalf of The CF of NC East Leadership, we would like to extend our thoughts, prayers and support to all of those who have been affected by the devastating effects of Hurricane Helene across the western region of our great state of North Carolina! One thing we know with certainty is that when natural disasters such as this occur, we see our own come to the aid and assistance of those affected in every possible way!

Here at home, we are ready to step up as quickly as possible with donations that we will begin immediately getting to two organizations that are there right now, providing emergency assistance to those in need. Providing immediate support during times of disaster is something that we as Community Foundations do best, and we invite you to consider a contribution to our Disaster Relief Fund of the CF of NC East to enable us to act as quickly as possible with assistance! We will be working with Samaritan's Purse and The American Red Cross, as we will direct your donations to them immediately to be designated for Disaster Relief and Recovery in western North Carolina counties.

It is truly heartbreaking to see the damages and losses of epic proportion. As we extend our prayers to each and everyone affected, please feel free to contact us immediately if you would like to contribute from your charitable gift funds with our Foundation. Please contact Charlene Silver, Donor Services Manager, at 252-756-8549, or by email at [email protected]
