We mourn the passing of esteemed Brother Guerry Barbee, a beloved instructor at Pitt Community College who helped educate untold numbers of students. May he rest in peace.

Join us tomorrow night for our stated, and a very special evening honoring our Chaplain and Honorary Member, Brother CJ East.

We will be joined by his parents and friends as we celebrate his upcoming graduation from East Carolina University! Brother East is a Sudan Shriner as well, and has been a Mason since 2024. He is the son of WB Chris East, Sr, a Certified Lecturer, and member of Manteo Masonic Lodge #517.

Brother Chris will graduate from ECU with dual bachelor’s degrees in Chemistry and Biology, with honor, and plans to attend medical school!

Dinner 6:30pm
Lodge 7:00pm

All Master Masons and candidates are endouraged to attend.

“Travelin’ Man” Men’s Retreat will be June 14-18 in beautiful Philadelphia, PA: The City of Brotherly Love! We will:

✔️ Visit Independence Hall, where the Declaration of Independence was debated and signed!

✔️ Visit the world famous “Liberty Bell” 🔔

✔️ Attend a Philadelphia Phillies game ⚾️

✔️ Visit the site where, later this July, The President and First Lady will stand to watch the Independence Day Fireworks🎇

and so much more! Great chance to get out of North Carolina and bond with your Brothers! The past two trips we made to Williamsburg and Charlottesville were a blast!!!

Today is a day that reminds us of renewal, hope, and the promise of light after darkness. It is also a time to reflect on the values we share as Masons, faith, charity, fellowship, and care for one another and our community.
