United Ministries Adult Education offers free GED and WIN Career Readiness preparation to adults ages 17 and older. To enroll, simply drop in at our learning center at 503 Vardry St in Greenville and complete a one-hour reading placement test. No appointment is necessary. Our hours are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 8 am - 7 pm and Wednesday from 8 am - noon. Once enrolled, you’ll be able to study on your own schedule and work through the program at your own pace. Then, once you’ve demonstrated that you’re likely to pass, we’ll pay $130 toward your $150 GED testing fees. That’s all there is to it. No registration fees, no tuition, no class schedules, no fuss. You can even keep the tassel and the funny hat. (-:
