One year ago, we celebrated 70 years of faith, fellowship, and community at St. Matthew!

As part of that special celebration, members of all ages contributed their own colorful creations to this collaborative work of art, now proudly displayed in our Family Life Center.

A special shoutout to St. Matthew’s own Susan White, the talented artist whose vision and creativity brought this project to life! 💛

Each piece is unique, but together they tell the story of the people, love, and faith that make St. Matthew what it is today.

Before they filled our patch, the pumpkins were growing in this field in New Mexico, waiting to be harvested and chosen to make their way to St. Matthew. And now, they’re waiting to be chosen by you! 🧡

What a sweet reminder that we, too, have been chosen by God—not just to belong to Him, but to bear fruit and share His love with others.

Over the past few weeks, Sunday School classes have gathered for listening sessions led by our Church & Society Committee as part of our work with GOAL Justice (Greenville Organized for Accountable Leadership).

These conversations have given us an opportunity to listen, share, and better understand the issues and concerns affecting our neighbors and our community. We’re grateful to everyone who has taken the time to participate and lend their voice as we seek to listen well and serve faithfully.
